site specific dance / performance / improvisation
2 – 7 August 2017
at El Útimo Bucardo, Pyrenees, Spain
facilitated by Ingo Reulecke and Trinidad Martínez
inesperadamente has been developing more and more in the direction of site- specific working projects. We have been spending a lot of time close to the ocean. Being in the mountains seems to be the next logical step for us.
Last year, at Konvent Punter (an artistic space close to Barcelona), we were close to the mountains but didn’t have time to explore them. Consequently, it feels right to develop dance and performance in the breathtaking Pyrenees mountains this summer.
We will spend as much time as possible outside in natural spaces. Naturally we need to be prepared for all kinds of weather. We will be playing with performative structures and creating a variety of compositions. It will be an exploration of the richness and the beauty of the surrounding area of El Último Bucardo.
Our aim is to explore the natural space with our presence. In order to achieve this, we will be going on excursions to beautiful sites nearby and will immerse ourselves in nature.
